London is a lively city, unpredictable & multicultural. You can visit it every year, you will never be bored. There is always a new thing to see … For your first time in London, here are five of the best things to do in London.
1. Shopping in Camden
2. Travel back in time – Natural History Museum
In my opinion, this is the most interesting museum in London. The entrance is free.
3. Visit the British Museum
The entrance to the British Museum is free but a donation of £3-5 is recommended. The most famous object is the Rosetta Stone.
4. Taste the fish & chips at the Rock and Sole Plaice
In the heart of Covent Garden, the Rock and Sole Plaice is one of the oldest fish and chips restaurant in London. (address : 47 Endell St). If you are vegetarian, I recommend you to try this restaurant : Mildred’s, 45 Lexington St.
5. Enjoy the view from Greenwich Park
Take a walk and enjoy the incredible view from the top of the hill. Greenwich Park is the oldest Royal Park of London. It’s a perfect place to relax. You can go up to the observatory and see the famous Greenwich Meridian line. You can also visit the Old Royal Observatory or the National Maritime Museum.
